Promise Land is an outreach program open to children and families in the local community. Promise Land is held Wednesdays from 3:30-5:30 p.m. and includes Bible stories, recreation, snacks, singing, skits, and crafts, and concludes with a healthy meal.

The most important feature of Promise Land is the relationships that develop between the children and the volunteers; children experience the love of God through our caring adult and teen helpers. The program is open to children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Children are met at Nye Elementary School at the close of school and walked to the church.

We typically serve about 40 children, but in past years have had as many as 65 participants. There are adult volunteers and teen helpers, plus additional volunteers who prepare and serve the meal.

Registration is held from the first week of school until the program starts, generally the second or third Wednesday of September. Simply contact the church office at 566-0252 to register. Registration is $15 and donations for meals are accepted on a weekly basis.

The program runs from mid-September to mid-March, and we close the program with a fun-filled carnival featuring games and prizes.
