MONTHLY MISSION EMPHASIS for MAY is Pillows of Love in Campbelltown. Read more.

HAM LOAF SALE - The Covenant Class will again be making and selling ham loaves on Saturday, May 17, for pick up in Fellowship Hall from 10 a.m. to noon on that day. Deadline for orders is Sunday, May 11. Price is $6 for 1 lb. loaf. Contact Gloria Rine 566-2639, Betty Miller 838-1204, Diane Gehret 944-0641 or Pat Aungst 566-0978 to place an order. Proceeds benefit Covenant Class Mission Projects.

EMMAUS COVERED DISH SUPPER to be held May 17 at 5:30 p.m. in Room 307. Bring a dish to share. Dinner is open to anyone who would like to learn more about “Walk to Emmaus” events.

HERITAGE CHOIR - Joan Reale invites anyone who has been a part of a choir at Trinity to join the Sanctuary Choir at the Traditional Services (8 and 11 a.m.) on Heritage Sunday, May 18 Joan will provide music in advance to anyone interested. A rehearsal will be held on Thursday, May 15, at 7:45 p.m. Singers are not required to sing at both services, but should choose when it is convenient for them. Interested persons should contact Joan Reale at 838-9509.

VBS IS COMING and we need YOU to make it a success! Our VBS is called POWER LAB-Discovering Jesus’ Miraculous Power, and it's going to be a BLAST! Our dates for VBS this year are June 9-13, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. We are still in need of a few crew leaders, a snack helper, a station leader, and a couple station helpers and extras. Please call Christel Dippery at 566-0252, ext. 108, as soon as possible if you are ready to join in the fun.

ITEMS NEEDED FOR VBS are posted on the bulletin boards on the first, second and fourth floors. Those registering have the option of paying $10 or donating needed items on these lists. Before donating, please check the list to make sure that your item is still needed. Thank you!

SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL is quickly approaching and we need YOUR help! With its laid back pace and prep-free “fun days” this is a great time to join the Sunday school team and give it’s “regular” teachers a much deserved break with their families. You need no degree to teach Sunday school, just the desire to share the love of God with children. Please call Christel Dippery, director of Children's Ministries, at 566-0252, ext. 108 for details.

GRADUATES - Please inform the church office if you or a family member is graduating this spring. We will be honoring all graduates on June 1, at 8 and 9:30 a.m.

MORNING STAR PREGNANCY CENTER AND UMW are again collecting for the Baby Bottle Blessing. Baby bottles and information are available in the narthex. Fill the bottles with loose change, folding money or a check. This campaign will continue to Father’s Day. Return bottles to Sue Waters, any UMW member or the Church Office.

TEAM TRINITY MS BIKERS RIDE AGAIN We hit the road July 19-20 to raise money for MS. You can register to ride online or contact Team Captain Bernie Bischof at 805-3371.

HARRISBURG DISTRICT GULFPORT MISSISSIPPI MISSION TRIP - Scheduled for Oct. 18-25, the Harrisburg District Office is returning to Gulfport Mississippi for a week of rebuilding from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. They are taking 25 men and 25 women. If you are interested in joining them please contact the Church Office 566-0252 for more information and a registration form. Financial contributions and gift cards are also welcome. Checks should be made payable to “FUMC” and mailed to Harrisburg District of the United Methodist Church, 4811 Jonestown Road, Suite 231, Harrisburg, PA 17109. Gift cards should be mailed to the same address. Thank you.

BEKAH WILCOX TO LEAD MISSION CENTRAL: Rebekah Wilcox, our Youth Director for four and a half years, has been asked to serve as Interim Director of Mission Central. Bekah will conclude her work as our Director of Youth Ministries on June 15. A search committee is being formed to begin the process to find someone else to fill this important position.
