Below are answers to some of the questions people commonly have about Trinity. If you don't find the answer you're looking for, just contact us and we'll be happy to help!

When are your services? What type do you offer?
Trinity offers two Traditional Services each Sunday at 8 and 11 a.m. and one Contemporary Service at 9:30 a.m. The Traditional Services are just as the name implies—“traditional”—featuring hymns sung from the United Methodist Hymnal and accompanied by an organist while the Contemporary Service features a full band complete with piano, horns, bass, guitars, vocalists and a drum set!
Where are you located?
The physical address for Trinity United Methodist Church is 210 West Main Street, Hummelstown, PA 17036. We’re just a couple blocks off the square of Hummelstown and very easy to find. For complete directions and maps from the Harrisburg, Hershey or Lancaster areas, please visit our Directions page.
Where do I park?
While parking is somewhat limited at Trinity, we do have a parking lot with handicap parking available at the main entrance of our Educational Building as you enter from Main Street. PLEASE NOTE: Our parking lot has a ONE-WAY entrance from Main Street, and traffic flows North straight through the parking lot from Main to the alley. Please do not attempt to exit the lot from Main Street as we would hate to see you or anyone else involved in an accident. If the parking lot is full, you have several other options available. Please visit our Where to Park page for more details and a map of parking options.
Are your buildings handicapped accessible?
Yes! During our recent renovation Trinity made sure to add an elevator that would allow handicapped accessibility to ALL floors of our buildings. Worshippers using wheelchairs may park in the handicapped spaces in the lot and enter through the Educational Building. Inside the door, to the right you’ll find a wheelchair ramp that will provide access to our large narthex where you may use the elevator to access any floor.
When are the buildings open?
For security reasons, Trinity is generally open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.-9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. The only doors open during those hours are the main doors to the Education Building which enter from the parking lot. The facility is monitored 24 hours a day by security cameras.

How do I become a member?
We ask that anyone wishing to join Trinity contact the church office at 566-0252. You'll be invited to meet with Pastor Ellen Evans, our associate pastor. After meeting with Pastor Evans, you'll be invited to join the church at the service of your choice.
What do I do if I want to get married at Trinity?
Your first step is to call the church office at 566-0252 to verify that the date on which you wish to marry is available. If so, you may let the church secretary know that you wish to reserve the date and ask to leave a message for one of the pastors and/or the wedding coordinator. One of these persons will then contact you about your next step.
Can we get married at Trinity if neither of us belongs to the church?
Yes. We do not require that the bride or the groom belong to Trinity in order to hold your nuptials here. Certain facility and staff fees do, however, apply to nonmembers that are normally waived for members of the church, and we would invite you to consider becoming a part of our Trinity family prior to your marriage. In addition to working with one of our pastors we also offer the services of our Trinity wedding coordinator to help your day run more smoothly.
Can my community group use the facilities at Trinity?
Yes! Part of our desire to renovate and create additional space at Trinity was to open our doors to the community and provide opportunities for more outreach and mission work to occur through our facilities. Community groups such as the Hummelstown Public Library and Jump for Joy Fitness and several support groups have all found homes at Trinity. If your group would like to inquire about meeting at Trinity, please contact us (link to Richard) so that we may gather your information. All requests must receive approval from the Trinity Board of Trustees.
Where do I find information for Learning Express Nursery School (LENS)?
All of the LENS information you need concerning registration, schedules, tuition and closing can be found online. If you have additional questions, you may contact the LENS hotline at 566-7551 and leave your name. Someone from the facility will contact you as soon as possible.
